Everything in this plane of existence is based on polarities: life/death, day/night, on/off, full/empty, left/right... even within our physical bodies. We are born male or female, yet each of us contains within both aspects.
In our practice, the themes of masculine and feminine often arise during the healing process, whether it involves balancing these polarities, healing wounded aspects of the feminine or masculine, or activating divine union within.
From our perspective, the healing journey can be summed up in two words: "Know thyself" echoing the wisdom inscribed upon the Temple of Apollo. This journey often begins with an introspective exploration of the feminine and masculine aspects within oneself.
It is a lengthy and challenging journey toward self-discovery, yet it is an essential path for living a healthy, abundant, and joyful life.

IMBALANCES
The scenarios of imbalances are vast and intricate, with each imbalance manifesting in a unique way in our physical, psychological and spiritual makeup.
For instance, a woman with intense emotional needs may develop a weak masculine aspect, as her emotional dependency may suppress her masculine side. A lack of determination in a woman may also indicate a weakness in her masculine aspect.
Conversely, a man who struggles to access his intuition or to express genuine emotions may likely be imbalanced in his feminine aspect. Unfortunately, we still inhabit a time where feminine traits are sometimes perceived as weaknesses, particularly in men.
Furthermore, it's possible (and very common) for a woman to lack feminine qualities or for a man to lack masculine traits.
Very often, these imbalances are rooted in traumatic experiences from childhood or in relationships with parents/caregivers. While these experiences do not define who we are in essence, they certainly form the foundation of the personality and ego construction as adults.
INNER UNION
The starting point is to acknowledge the interconnectedness of our opposing aspects within (feminine and masculine) and understand how each one requires the other to function properly.
In general:
• The feminine aspect relies on the support, courage, and guidance of the masculine to confront challenges with both strength and compassion.
• The masculine aspect finds balance when enveloped in the nurturing presence of the feminine, providing a loving container to express sensitivity while maintaining focus.
During sessions, this inner state of union reveals itself as a dance between Feminine and Masculine Energies, constantly in motion and adapting to one another.
Once we achieve balance within our opposing poles, we can begin to cultivate healthy relationships, particularly genuine Union.
RELATIONSHIPS
The challenge in forming the ideal couple often comes from the lack of balance between the masculine and feminine energies within both partners. Frequently, individuals would attract or would choose a partner that is a caricature of the weak aspect within themselves. We seek to compensate for our shortcomings and frustrations by seeking completion in the other person. Basically, we seek wholeness outside of ourselves. However, this only serves to further weaken the already deficient aspect within us.
To give a simplified but common example, a submissive woman would attract a dominant man. Since both would find a sense of “balance” in this relationship, with time it may likely turn into a highly co-dependent relationship. Changing the dynamic may be arduous and painful.
A woman who is strong-willed might find herself with a sensitive man who doesn't fully step into the role of providing support for the family. While it's perfectly fine (and needed) for a man to be sensitive and for a woman to be strong-willed, issues arise when the man depends on his partner to make decisions not just for the family, but also for himself, and when the woman struggles to create a nurturing environment not only for her family, but also for herself.
Thus, the couple is just a projection, a mirror of our own deficiency. The bigger mistake would be to think that complication in the relationship only comes from the partner.
The relationship in the couple provides a beautiful opportunity for self-discovery.
If there is love, adjustments are possible. Move past the idea of perfection often associated with love at first sight, and instead ask yourself, "How can I accept the other as they are, in their wholeness?"
To foster a harmonious relationship:
• Focus on personal growth to balance and harmonize Feminine and masculine aspects within oneself.
• Cultivate a relationship built on genuine sharing and mutual understanding.
How to work on the feminine and the masculine aspects within?
The purpose of introspection is to comprehend the nature of each polarity and how they function within oneself. In our perspective, that is essential in order to "know thyself."
Begin by creating a meditative sanctuary within, crafted by and for you alone. It doesn’t need to be the traditional way like closed eyes and yogi posture. For instance, some may find solace in a simple walk during sunrise. Quiet your mind, inhale deeply, exhale slowly, and connect with your belly and your heart. If agitated thoughts arise, acknowledge them, then let them go. It may take time to discover this sacred inner space.
Once you feel at ease, consider focusing on qualities of the feminine or masculine that resonate with you from the top list. Reflect on how they align with your being. The aim is to define the nature of your masculine and feminine aspects, identifying any deficiencies or wounds, and observing how they interact with various personality types in your life.
Be a detective, drawing insights from your observations. If you feel guided to, document your experiences and revelations in a journal.

Recognizing the nature and imbalances of feminine and masculine energies within ourselves is a crucial step toward healing, as it requires a level of awareness and mental understanding. However, this alone is not enough.
The emotional charge created by traumatic experiences, whether deep or superficial, or created by challenges in relationships, often becomes stored in the energy field or within the body, forming pockets of dense energy. Thorough identification of these issues does not make them disappear; one may even become adept at navigating their problems without truly liberating themselves.
This is where Energy Healing and Breathwork can be powerful modalities in the healing journey.
In an Energy Sound Healing session, the voice and the hands serve as instruments to transmit specific vibrations into the energy field and into the body. When the timing is right for healing, these vibrations can dissolve pockets of dense energy through harmonic resonance and fill the liberated space with Divine Energies, attuned to the Higher Self.
In a Breathing session, we observe how the breath or life force moves through each side of the body. The left side represents the feminine, and the right side represents the masculine. By opening up the breath in areas where it is not circulating, we remove blocks associated with each polarity and allow an empowering of these aspects.
Once the body and energy field are cleared, and when the timing aligns (as everything unfolds in its own time), Energy work can facilitate a reconnection with Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine Energies and activate Divine Union within.
